Harris-60 Years
Delbert and Francis Harris will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 2 with an open house at their home
between 4-7 p.m. Family and friends are invited to stop by and celebrate with Del and Fran.
Delbert Harris and Francis Lea were married on Halloween, October 31, 1953. Del and Fran met in Prosser where Fran lived and went to high school. Del lived and went to high school in the Tieton/Cowiche area.
In 1962 they moved from Yakima to Selah, where they still reside.
Del was in the car business for 50 years. He was part owner of Harris & Allen Used Cars until 1981. At that time he opened Del Harris Motors. Fran was the bookkeeper of the business until they retired.
Del and Fran have 2 children, Diana Harris-Deatherage and Mike Harris, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
