Godfrey-50 Years
Gene Godfrey and Cathy Stumpf were married in Wenatchee, WA August 21, 1965. Cathy moved to Gene’s hometown, Yakima, WA, where he was a carpenter until he retired at 55. Cathy had a dog grooming business for 28 years then had a daycare business until she retired. They had two children: Gene Godfrey Jr. (Geno) and Kandy Godrey (Elmo). They have five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. They built a home in Selah, WA in 1993. They had their anniversary party there with friends and family.
