Lanik-65 Years
John Lanik and Vera Pelela were married January 7, 1949 at the Methodist Church in Kennewick, WA. They met three months earlier while working at Hanford. Both said it was “love at fi rst sight!” After living in the Tri-Cities for a few months, they moved to Yakima, where they have lived ever since.
Vera and John have two children: daughter Linda DePew (and husband John) of Yakima, and son Randy Lanik, of Las Vegas, Nevada. They also have two grandsons and three great grandchildren. A celebration dinner is planned for the family on January 3rd.
Thank you, Mom and Dad, for your love, commitment and devotion to each other and to our family. We love you and wish you a very Happy 65th anniversary.
