Becker-50 Years
Marvin and Frances (Fast) Becker were married June 28, 1965, in Seattle, Washington. Marvin is retired from the Yakima School District where he was the librarian at Franklin Jr. High for many years. Frances is also a retired teacher. After retiring she went back to school and became a nurse, from which she has also retired. The couple has been very active in their church, helping with Sunday School, and singing in the church choir.They have two children, Aaron (Carrie) Becker of Yakima, and Gretchen (Tim) Hall also of Yakima, and have been blessed with seven grandchildren with whom they have given beautiful memories of park picnics, weekend sleepovers, library visits, and bedtime stories. And they always enjoy attending all the grandkids’ various sporting events throughout the years.
