
Wright-50 Years
Bill Wright and Beth Wilcox were married on November 9, 1963 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Othello, Washington. They have lived in Yakima for 50 years.
A reception will be held on November 9, 2013 from 2pm until 5pm at the Terrace Heights LDS Church, at the corner of Rosa Hill Dr. and Hillcrest Dr., 105 South Hillcrest Drive.
Their children and grandchildren invite family and friends of Beth and Bill to share in this celebration.
Beth graduated from Othello High School in 1959. Bill was in the class of 1958 at Moxee High School.
Beth retired from the Yakima School District after 24 years. She was a home maker, stay at home mom, before that.
Bill retired from Pace International after 26 years. He worked with chemicals, manufacturing many products to be sold world wide. He was a journeyman barber for many years. He operated Taco Time for 13 years. He was a U.S. Marine.
Beth & Bill have four children, 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Their children are; Cindy (Leo) Morales, Peggy (Dane) Pierone, Jeff (Sherry) Wright, Kyle Wright all of Yakima.
Beth and Bill served an 18 month service mission for the LDS Church after retirement. They both have served in many leadership callings in the church and actively attend the Temple.
Beth and Bill are hooked on fishing, catching many fish. They teach a “beginning fishing” class on occasion, without charge.
