Geike-50 Years
James and Vangie Geike (left) were married on November 28, 1964 at St. Pauls Cathedral, with a double wedding with her twin Angie and Art Goldade. Father Ecker stated he was confused as to which twin he was marrying to which groom. Art passed in 1998 but left Angie with many blessings of eight children, 35 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Jim and Vangie have six children; Brenda (Ron) Stiles, James (Amanda) Geike, Kathleen Geike, Jeremy (Crystal) Geike, Terese Geike, Rose (Rob) Erickson. They also have 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. They made a bucket list of 50 things to do including small trips, quiet times at restaurants with friends and family and spent two days at ocean shores but no sky diving. They will celebrate with friends and family on Thanksgiving.
