Delbert and Sandra Newcomb of Yakima will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on April 18, 2014. They were married in Lewiston, Idaho on April 18, 1954. They are the parents of two children, Doug (Cheryl) Newcomb of Pleasant Grove, Utah and Cindy (Dennis) Kessner of Lynnwood, Washington.

They have 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. They lived in Lewiston where Del worked as a grocer until 1972. They moved to Anchorage, Alaska for a few months to manage grocery stores in the area. They then move to Sunnyside, Washington in early 1973 to manage Akins Thrift Grocery and Sandy worked at Old National Bank. In 1982 they purchased a Kits Camera franchise and moved to Yakima.
They finished out their working careers there and retired in 1997. Del continues to work part time at the Ace Hardware on Yakima Avenue. A reception was held in their honor on Saturday, April 12th.
