Hauver-40 Years
Larry and Connie Hauver celebrated their 40th anniversary with a surprise party put on by their boys and families at the Terrace Heights Grange on Saturday, March 15th.
Larry Hauver and Connie Kopp were married March 16, 1974 at the now East Valley Reformed Church. They are lifelong Moxee residents and were classmates throughout their school years…but not high-school sweethearts! The chemistry sparked between the two when they were 21, while Larry was working for Connie’s dad doing farm work…and the rest is history!
Larry and Ed became farming partners until Ed retired and Larry moved into a different part of the farming world selling farm machinery at Yakima Implement, where he still works today. Connie has spent her working career at different departments with Yakima County, cur-rently working within the County Road Dept.

Hauver-40 Years
Larry and Connie felt fortunate that their parents were social friends, so all holidays and special occasions were spent with the families together. They enjoy spending time with their horses and are active in the competitive sports of ranch-sorting and team-penning, now with son Justin and grandson Carson. Connie also helps put on the annual “Sort-4-the-Cause” Ranch Sorting Fun’d-raiser Event that supports local charities. Time spent with their two children and their families is always enjoyed: Brandon (Lyndsey) Hauver, with grandsons Camden & Lukas in Moxee; and Justin (Kendra) Hauver, with grandson Carson (who live on Larry’s late parents’ property in rural Moxee).
